Problem Solving

On Friday every week, the class splits into groups of 3, 4 or 5 and figure out maths problems that are shown on cards. They start off easy, but gradually get harder. We spend approximately half an hour on the maths problems and after we finish, Mr. Barrett corrects with us. Someone in the class comes up to the top of the class and writes out a tally totalling how much questions we got right, normally sixth class get a higher score. Recently, new cards arrived that are much harder than usual. Nearly every group got stuck on them. Although the cards are very difficult, they are great to improve our maths problem solving.
